Audre Lorde

Audre Lorde was an American writer, radical feminist, womanist, lesbian, and civil rights activist.

Born: February 18, 1934, Harlem, New York City, NY

Died: November 17, 1992, Christiansted, United States Virgin Islands

In her own words, Lorde was a “black, lesbian, mother, warrior, poet”.
