A woman’s journey from rape victim to seeker of justice, to global activist in the fight against sexual violence, is chronicled in this powerful, highly acclaimed documentary. At age 18, Israeli model Linor Abargil was abducted, stabbed and raped just weeks before she competed in – and won – the Miss World pageant in 1998. Brave Miss World highlights not only Linor’s successful battle for justice against her attacker, but also her healing process, which included speaking out about her own experience and encouraging other rape victims to do the same – without shame. Tremendously powerful and perennially relevant, Brave Miss World is not to be missed.
